A boyfriend decided to go the extra mile for his girlfriend — by sleeping on the floor of an airplane so she could have the row to herself.
TikToker Marthe Friden posted a clip of her boyfriend’s chivalrous act to her page last week.
“Get yourself a man who sleeps on the floor so you can get the whole row,” reads the text on top of the video, which has already taken off with nearly 2 million views.
While it appears as though the video might have been posted in jest, TikTokers rushed to Friden’s comments section to express concern for her eye-mask-wearing beau.
“GIRL GET THAT MAN OFF THE FLOOR,” writes one user.
“This is actually dangerous if there is spontaneous turbulence he could go flying and really injure himself and others,” another warns.
“He deserves better,” someone chides. Several users also called the act “unsanitary” and worried he might be covered in germs.
Friden assured her followers that her boyfriend voluntarily laid out on the floor like a small carry-on item.
Friden writes: “he wanted to try to sleep on the floor I didn’t make him do it.”
Others rushed to Friden’s defense by saying, “kinda looks comfortable ngl,” to which Friden replies: “Yeah, with a pillow, sleeping mask & music.”
“These comments loool it was probably most comfortable for both of them, especially the boyfriend since he looks tall. people are so pressed,” says another supportive viewer.
Based on a video posted the same week, it appears as though Friden and her boyfriend traveled from Norway to Spain. Friden regularly posts videos of her trips around the world, though whether or not her boyfriend always sleeps on the floor is up in the air.
