Wife of rapper who put kids in cages called 911 because he threatened to kill her: arrest report

The wife of the wannabe Las Vegas rapper charged with abusing his children and keeping at least two of them in cages finally called the police after he allegedly threatened to kill her, documents reveal.

Amanda Stamper, 33, called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department from the stock room of a Walgreens on June 11, where she told dispatchers she was hiding from her pimp husband “because he threatened to kill her,” the arrest warrant obtained by The Post stated.

When an officer arrived at the scene, Stamper said she and Travis Doss, 31, initially got into a fight over him talking to another woman, the write-up continued.

Stamper told police that Doss was her pimp and that they needed to go to their extended-stay apartment on South Valley View Boulevard where, she claimed, “there were children locked in a dog kennel.”

When police arrived at the residence, they found six children — aged from 2 to 11 — alone with two dogs. Two of the older boys were locked in a pet crate, gut-wrenching bodycam footage showed earlier this week.

Stamper and Doss, who goes by the rap name “Trap Montana,” were arrested and remain in custody.

Doss now faces 33 counts of child abuse and two kidnapping charges, in addition to separate counts of sex trafficking and living off sex work earnings through force or threat, court records showed.

Stamper, who is staring down seven child abuse and neglect counts, claimed earlier this week that she was also a victim of Doss’s abuse, and said she did not report his behavior because she was “afraid for [her] life.”

In an interview with police last month, Stamper alleged that Doss had been forcing her to engage in sex work for money since they met in Atlanta six years ago, the police documents stated.

She also told the responding officers that Doss started abusing his six older children “approximately one year ago.”

“Amanda stated all the children are covered with marks from their neck down,” the harrowing write-up continued.

A black skillet in the family’s home has “dents in it from the children’s heads,” Stamper also alleged.

When he was arrested, Doss reportedly told police that he was surprised his 11-year-old son, who was found in the kennel, was still alive.

In her interview with investigators, Stamper also admitted that the child had “looked dead” for five days.

Doss, in his own interview, told police he had “‘washed [his] hands’” of one of his children and that they should be taken away.

He admitted threatening Stamper’s life, but denied her allegations that he kicked her in the stomach.

In addition to Doss’ six children, he and Stamper share a toddler, whom she told police the wannabe musician did not abuse.

Stamper testified against her husband at his grand jury hearing this week, the Las Vegas Review-Journal said.

She continues to maintain that she is not guilty of child abuse or neglect.

“I’m sorry but I didn’t do it. I had no control over him,” she added to 8NewsNow.

Stamper also claims that she is currently pregnant, the outlet said. She has two other children who did not live with her Doss, and her stepchildren.
