We stayed in a glass hotel room — people kept asking if we would have sex

What a glassy hotel.

Margaret, 33, and Corey Bienert, 35, stayed in a glass room in the lobby of a hotel in Ibiza, and they claimed that people kept tapping on the glass and recording them — as well as asking if they would have sex.

“I’ve been a content creator long enough to know you don’t do something like that for free so there was no chance for that in my mind,” Margaret told The Post.

The Bienerts run the popular TikTok account @aprettycoolhoteltour, where they post videos of their stays in vintage, kitschy or themed hotels around the world, including their night in the Zero Suite in the lobby of the Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel.

While the married couple has stayed at unique hotels all across the globe, they confessed that their see-through, boxed-in space was the “wildest hotel room” they ever visited.

“I was kind of shocked and horrified,” Margaret confessed to The Post. “I didn’t really look into it, and I definitely did not expect it to be so open.”

The Zero Suite was installed when the hotel was built in 2018 and is available to two guests for one free night per calendar year, according to Newsweek.

The small hotel room — encased in glass backed with one yellow wall and matching floors — is on the ground floor of the adult-only art hotel created by the Concept Hotel Group, which manages several other unique sleepover spots.

The room is presented as an experiential art exhibit that guests can participate in and “become part of the art by sleeping in this glass box in the middle of the lobby.”

In a tour of the bizarre box, Margaret explained that “you can be seen by the staff, the other guest and you can even be seen from the street outside” because the room is set just a few feet from the sliding glass front doors and reception desk.

She told The Post that “it never felt like there was a time when there was no one around,” noting the island’s world-renowned nightlife culture.

The content creator said the room was “pretty freaky” — but getting freaky was exactly what people seemed to want.

“Why is everyone asking the same question about this hotel room….No, we did not get it on in there,” she revealed in a follow-up TikTok video.

However, she clarified that the hotel staff did not provide the couples with any rules for their stay, nor did they have to sign a waiver agreeing to be filmed and photographed, which they were.

Creating a spoof of what their time in the glass box was like, the couple posted a TikTok video showing Corey tapping on a window while holding his phone up as he smushes his face into the glass, knocking on the window with his flash strobing, and attempting to take a selfie while shouting, “Smile!” and “What’s your handle?”

The couple was shocked that so many people asked whether they would have sex in the room — and that onlookers insisted that they would themselves.

“I thought I could sleep through anything. I always sleep through anything. We travel all the time. I sleep on the floor at the airport. I sleep in the car while we’re driving. I sleep on the airplane,” Margaret bragged, “This was a little different.

“Not just because lights on and people walking through … You are the art, which means people want to see you do something,” she revealed.

But Margaret and Corey weren’t ready to put themselves on display in that way.

“That glass box wasn’t so sexy to me,” Margaret said.

The world traveler noted that the Zero Suite was a “fascinating” and “brilliant” experience, “but was I excited about getting freaky in there? No.”

“More like zero sleep,” Corey teased in a TikTok video unpacking in the room — which is lined with bright lights that are never shut off.

The couple woke up early as the sun shone through the lobby one morning as the hotel staff got to work and the other guests began their day.

There was one private area that was deservedly so: Margaret noted that the bathroom connected to the room was covered by four walls but was too tiny for a slumber.

“I do feel like they made it small on purpose to make sure that you weren’t just going to go to sleep in the bathroom,” she told The Post. “Like, truly, if I thought it was going to be comfortable enough to lie down, I probably would have.”

Corey, who’s autistic, was asked for his own review in one of Margaret’s videos and replied, “It was terrible” — further admitting that the hardest part was being “too clothed for comfort” while he slept due to the “anxiety associated with being watched by others.”

“I was just not feeling very comfortable at all,” he shared.

However, Margaret admitted that “the rest of the hotel is stunning” as she shared pictures of the island getaway drenched in “vintage Miami vibes” and lots of pastels.

“I hear the actual rooms with walls are great,” she said.

The videos of the concept room at Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel resurfaced after another woman went viral a few weeks ago for sharing a viral TikTok video of her friend staying in the room.

A young woman is seen hanging an “I heart Ibiza” towel on the window, walking around in a bath towel, kissing a man through the glass, gyrating on a bed-bound friend and dancing around.

“POV my friend booked the see thru room Ibiza,” wrote Milica Mijailović from Belgrade, Serbia, in the clip’s caption.

Her video amassed more than 7.6 million views as TikTok scrollers were shocked to learn about the adventurous stay.

She later shared another video with views of the walled room and said that she “highly recommended it.” noting that her friend said the Zero Suite “was very fun.”

The Instagram-ready hotel also boasts of having “two of Europe’s most Instagrammable pools,” “one of the island’s most stunning bars,” a resident ink master ready to tattoo daring guests, a nail salon, an art gallery and an outdoor music venue.

“Each one of our hotels has a wow factor or unique feature that makes the hotel much more than just a building with rooms in it, and creates experiences that the guest will remember long after they check out,” a rep told Newsweek.
