Vivek Ramaswamy raps on Fox News

Bill Clinton, eat your heart out.

More than three decades after the then-Arkansas governor shook up the 1992 presidential race by playing the saxophone on Arsenio Hall’s late-night show, entrepreneur and former Eminem-inspired college rapper Vivek Ramaswamy spat some freestyle bars on Fox News Thursday morning.

“My name’s Vivek/It rhymes with cake/It is about thee/The United States is about lib-er-tee/So ‘Fox & Friends’ join us on the trail/We’ll have some fun/I’ll see you at the trail,” the 37-year-old rapped to co-host Steve Doocy at the conclusion of an interview.

Doocy had asked Ramaswamy about recent revelations that the Harvard College and Yale Law School alum was in the rap game while an undergrad.

“Some of these opposition research stories are false, but I will confirm that one is true,” Ramaswamy explained. “I was a little bit of a libertarian freestyler in college and had some fun with it.”

The Politico story published Wednesday revealed that Ramaswamy called himself “Da Vek” on stage.

“I saw myself, honestly, making it big through American capitalism, and that’s why the Eminem story spoke to me,” the author of “Woke Inc.” told the outlet.

Ramaswamy has reportedly revised his opinion of Eminem, a sharp critic of former President Donald Trump, though he still appreciates the Michigan native’s music.

While the rapping career never took off, Ramaswamy made a name for himself in the investment world before founding biopharmaceutical company Roivant Sciences.

Now, he is vying for the presidency and polls have shown him getting a sharp uptick in support in recent weeks.

The latest RealClearPolitics aggregate of polling shows Ramaswamy in third place nationally on 5.4%, leading established politicians including Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.
