Video shows ‘cuffed Zach Bryan telling cop he’s ‘a famous musician’

Newly revealed bodycam footage shows Zach Bryan being handcuffed while telling a cop he’s too famous to give him his address — just three days before the country star was taken to jail for mouthing off to another officer.

The “Heading South” hitmaker was told he was pulled over in Verdigris, Okla. for going 68 in a 50mph speed limit, footage shared by Fox 23 shows.

Asked for his current address, Bryan, 27, says after a pause: “I’m not really comfortable sharing that.”

“You have to,” the officer responds. “Either you can give me the information I need for my ticket I’m going to give you, or you can go to jail.”

Bryan is seen with his hands ‘cuffed behind his back while he continually refuses to help the cop.

“I don’t think it’s any of your business where I live — I’m a famous musician and I don’t want people knowing where I live,” he says with clear contempt.

The cop then challenges Bryan over whether he really supports law enforcement, telling him he had just attended his concert a couple of days prior to the traffic stop.

“Of course I do. I don’t support this s–t though,” the singer says. “This is crazy.”

The cop responds: “Listen, just because you are a famous musician doesn’t mean you can deny information.”

“I was just going to give you a normal speeding ticket,” the officer told the star. “When they start refusing information, I don’t recognize you from Adam. I’m out here on a dark roadway, OK?”

The pair made peace, and Bryan apologized for refusing information — apologizing again later on social media.

Three days later, Bryan had another run-in with a cop who pulled his security guard over for speeding in Vinita, Oklahoma.

The singer has since issued a lengthy apology on social media — including for the initial speeding stop before the arrest — in which he acknowledged that he acted like an “idiot” and an “actual child.”

“My decisions did not reflect who I was as a person — I just want to make that clear. I should’ve been smarter about it,” he said, in part.
