USWNT’s Ashlyn Harris dating Sophia Bush after Ali Krieger divorce

Ashlyn Harris is back in the dating game after her recent divorce.

The U.S. Women’s National Team star is now dating actress Sophia Bush after filing for divorce from Ali Krieger in September, Page Six confirmed.

Harris, 37, and Krieger, 39, former USWNT and Gotham FC teammates, were married for four years before Harris filed paperwork on Sept. 19 that their union was “irretrievably broken,” according to documents obtained by Page Six.

Bush, 41, is also recently divorced after she split with Grant Hughes in August following 13 years of marriage.

“It’s very new,” a source told Page Six of the Harris-Bush romance. “They are definitely a couple.”

Harris, a World Cup champion in both 2015 and 2019 as a backup goalkeeper, has been friends with Bush for a number of years and even appeared together on a panel at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in June.

According to Page Six, things became romantic between the two after the panel.

Harris and Krieger, whose 2019 wedding was officiated by 2015 World Cup champion and Angel City FC player Sydney Leroux, intended to sign a Parenting Plan in order to resolve any child custody-related issues for their two young adopted children, 2-year-old daughter Sloane and 1-year-old son Ocean.

Bush is an investor in Angel City FC and has said she is a “lifelong soccer fan.”

In November 2022, Harris announced her from retirement from soccer.

“I am shedding my skin and stepping into anew. My struggles have shaped my purpose and I couldn’t be more happy to start this new journey off the field as @gothamfc new Global Creative Advisor,” she posted on Instagram.

Harris went 5-0-1 in USWNT play while recording 22 clean sheets during her nine-season NWSL career.
