Trump shuns Melania in seething Mother’s Day post

Donald Trump snubbed his wife Melania in his bizarre Mother’s Day message Sunday, instead using the happy occasion to rip into his political enemies on the left.

In a typically blustery tirade posted on Truth Social, the former president wished Happy Mother’s Day “to ALL, in particular the Mothers, Wives and Lovers of the Radical Left Fascists, Marxists, and Communists who are doing everything within their power to destroy and obliterate our once great Country.”

He then made a special request for the aforementioned women in the lives of his left-leaning foes: “Please make these complete Lunatics and Maniacs Kinder, Gentler, Softer and, most importantly, Smarter, so that we can, quickly, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

Conspicuously missing from Trump’s holiday greeting was any mention of Melania, 53, his third wife and the mother of his youngest child, 17-year-old Barron.

The couple have been together for two decades, tying the knot in 2005.

Trump's Mother's Day post on Truth Social
The ex-president used his Mother’s Day post on Truth Social to blast “Radical Left Fascists, Marxists, and Communists.”

This is not the first time that the 76-year-old firebrand has used holidays to lash out at his ideological rivals.

Last Mother’s Day Trump similarly took to his Truth Social platform to wish a “Happy Mother’s Day to all, including Racist, Vicious, Highly Partisan, Politically Motivated, and Very Unfair Radical Left Democrat Judges.”

On Christmas, Trump extended the season’s greetings to “EVERYONE,” including “Radical Left Marxists that are trying to destroy our Country, the Federal Bureau of Investigation that is illegally coercing & paying Social and LameStream Media.”

He then went on to address himself in the third person while praising himself as “Brilliant, Clairvoyant” and “USA LOVING.”

In June 2021, Trump, a dad-of-five, celebrated Father’s Day by releasing a statement targeting “the Radical Left, RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) and other Losers of the world.”

Meanwhile, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Trump’s strongest potential challenger for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, stayed on message in his Mother’s Day tweet Sunday.

“Madison, Mason and Mamie are lucky to have the best mother in the world -@CaseyDeSantis,” DeSantis wrote in a post accompanying a sweet snap of his family. “Thank you for all that you do for our family, we love you very much!”

President Biden sounded a similar note, tweeting a photo of himself walking hand-in-hand with first lady Jill Biden, which he poignantly captioned: “To the love of my life, and the life of my love — Happy Mother’s Day, @flotus.”
