Texas man murdered wife’s lover, wrapped body in plastic and hid remains: cops

A Texas man allegedly beat his wife’s lover to death in a fit of vengeance and then wrapped the man’s body in plastic and hid the remains on his property — with the help of his cheating wife.

Narciso Banos, 49, was arrested for fatally beating his employee, Francisco Antonio Serrano Romero, 32, after learning he was having an affair with his wife, Francisca Salazar Carrizales, 42, according to police.

Romero’s wife requested a welfare check on Saturday and authorities searched Banos’ property in Tomball, where they found a body inside a “detached structure.”

“Romero had been reported missing by a family member and was last known to be at [Banos’] address,” the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.

Cops found Romero wrapped in black plastic that was secured with electrical tape inside a building that was used as an office.

Cleaning products containing bleach and a mop bucket were also found nearby, ABC 13 reported.

Banos and his wife pulled up to their property and the husband told deputies, “I’m the one you’re looking for,” and confirmed it was Romero’s body.

Both Banos and Carrizales were charged with murder, aggravated kidnapping and tampering with evidence of a human corpse.

The slain man’s wife told police he called her to say he was going to spend the night at his boss, Banos’, house and go to work from there, but when he called, he sounded injured. When he didn’t pick up the phone again, she called Banos to question where he was.

Banos said Romero was having an affair with his wife, Carrizales, and pistol-whipped him. He then claimed that Romero left his property and he didn’t know where he was.

In a subsequent interview with police, Banos admitted to beating Romero in the head, face and body with a rifle and the grip of a handgun. He also admitted to biting him on the arm and then detaining him.

He and his wife wrapped Romero’s body in a black plastic bag and left him in a detached structure on their property while they ran errands. When they returned, he was dead.

Carrizales’ bond was set at $500,000 while Banos’ bond was set at $600,000. He received a higher bond because he admitted to beating Romero with guns.
