A man aboard a Russian S7 Airlines flight was escorted off the plane after allegedly freaking out when he spotted ghosts of Wagner Group mercenaries aboard, according to local reports.

The man, identified only as Vitaly, 39, by Russian outlet’s Baza and Mash, was seen in a viral video Thursday screaming on a plane set to depart the St. Petersburg-bound flight from Novosibirsk.

“Stop. Stop the takeoff. I’m not kidding,” the outlets translated the man saying. “Stop the takeoff. Do it fast. Stop the take off quickly. Do it fast. I can see. Stop. Stop the takeoff. Make a stop.”

Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, noting that the passenger begged the flight crew to not take off because he saw “three ghosts of Wagner mercenaries who were watching him.”

The video has been seen more than 300,000 times.

The Wagner mercenaries were part of Russia’s private military force that was put on pause following its failed Yevgeny Prigozhin-led mutiny in June.

“The crew could not get him to calm down. In the end, the man was taken away by police and taken to a psychiatric hospital,” Gerashchenko added, which was also relayed by Baza.

Baza noted that the man appeared composed during check-in and boarding procedures accompanied by his mother, but suddenly jumped out of his seat during taxiing.

His outburst caused the flight to be delayed for two hours, the Russian outlets added.

S7 Airlines did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The S7 Airlines was delayed by two hours before it took off for St. Petersburg.

The case is reminiscent of Tiffany Gomas’ viral freak out aboard an American Airlines flight last month, where she was filmed yelling about a “not real” passenger.

The bizarre meltdown featured Gomas yelling: “I don’t give two f–ks, but I am telling you right now — that motherf–ker back there is NOT real.”

Gomas has since claimed that the rant was sparked by an argument she was having over wireless headphones.
