Republicans quickly dogpile on Nikki Haley in fourth debate

Republican presidential aspirants onstage wasted no time dogpiling on Nikki Haley soon after the fourth debate commenced.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came out swinging against Nikki Haley, claiming she isn’t a strong fighter for Republicans.

“You’ve got to be willing to stand strong and you’ve got to be willing to beat these people,” DeSantis began.

“You have other candidates up here like Nikki Haley. She caves anytime the left comes after [her].”

DeSantis cited legislation in Florida about transgenderism that he described as restricting the “gender mutilation of minors” and argued that she criticized that legislation.

Haley then said that DeSantis “continues to lie about my record” and explained that she previously criticized Parental Rights in Education in Florida.

She stressed that she previously said that law “didn’t go far enough because it only talked about gender until the third grade.”

Soon after that exchange, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy chimed in and blasted Haley.

“After you left the UN,” he said, “you actually … [joined] the board of Boeing whose back you scratched for a very long time and then gave foreign multinational speeches like Hillary Clinton.”

“I think that this is far more corrupt than I even imagined when I entered politics.”

Haley shrugged off that attack and explained that she was proud of the work Boeing did, but left the board when they took a COVID-19 “bailout.”

“And in terms of these donors that are supporting me, they’re just jealous, they wish that they were supporting them,” Haley added of DeSantis and Ramaswamy to cheers.

Soon after, Ramaswamy followed up, by likening Haley to a fascist.

“The only person more fascist than the Biden regime now is Nikki Haley who thinks the government should identify every one of those individuals with an ID,” he said, referring to recent comments she made about social media.

“I love all the attention fellas,” Haley quipped.

“What I said was that social media companies need to show us their algorithms. I also said there are millions of bots on social media right now,” she continued referring to foreign adversaries like China, Russia, and Hamas.

The Florida governor then backed up Ramaswamy.

“Roll the tape she said, ‘I want your name,’” DeSantis chimed in.

“She got real serious blowback and understandably so because it’d be a massive expansion of government.”

Haley has risen in the polls in key early states and her campaign has claimed that she has momentum roughly six weeks out from the Iowa caucuses.
