‘NCIS’ alum Pauley Perrette nearly died from ‘massive stroke’ last year

Pauley Perrette revealed she suffered a life-threatening stroke last year.

“It’s 9/2. One year ago I had a massive stoke [sic],” the ”NCIS” alum, 53, tweeted Friday.

“Before that I lost so many beloved family and friends …Yet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far.”

The actress added that she’s ”so grateful” and “full of faith” that she’s “STILL HERE!”

Perrette’s post included a selfie-style video in which she spoke about how thankful she is to have survived several life-threatening events.

“How many times do I cheat death?” Perrette asked. “I almost died from a hair dye allergy, I have food allergies. I’m a domestic violence and rape survivor.”

“I’ve been through a lot in the last two years. Things that are harder than having a stroke. But I’m still here. And I’m still grateful. And thank you, those of you who are my friends.”

The “Broke” star has faced several scary situations, including when a homeless man allegedly attacked her and threatened to kill her in 2015.

“I almost died tonight,” Perrette tweeted at the time.

She explained that she was walking around her neighborhood on a weekday afternoon when a man, later identified as David Merck, allegedly ran towards her, pinned her arms down, punched her in the nose, and told her over and over again, “I’m going to kill you.”

Merck was charged but deemed incompetent to stand trial. In 2016, a judge ruled he seek treatment at a psychiatric hospital. He was freed from the hospital two years later.

“It changed my life forever,” Perrette said in a statement at the time. “I don’t walk outside my house. I think it’s entirely possible that the next word I hear about this guy is that he’ll kill a female.”
