Lunden Roberts vows to fight Hunter Biden’s child support

Lawyers for the mother of Hunter Biden’s out-of-wedlock daughter have told an Arkansas court that their client will not agree to the first son’s request for a reduced child support bill.

Lunden Roberts’ legal team confirmed in a Tuesday motion that they were seeking continued payments of $20,000 per month so that 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts could “enjoy the same lifestyle and quality of life as her half-siblings and cousins who are members of the Biden family.”

The filing came a day after the judge in the case chastised Hunter’s legal team for overzealously redacting financial information in court documents. Roberts, 32, had accused the formerly high-paid lobbyist of hiding his money while posing as a “destitute” artist.

Hunter, 53, who is under federal investigation for potential crimes including tax evasion, is also fighting a maneuver by Roberts to change young Navy’s last name to Biden so she can enjoy the prestige of the presidential surname.

The embattled first son has said he met Roberts when she was a dancer at a strip club. He initially denied siring Navy until a DNA test proved he was the father.

Hunter Biden’s legal team claimed Monday that their client had provided Navy with a total of $750,000 in support since acknowledging her as his flesh and blood.

Hunter has reportedly never met his daughter. He has four other children — one son with his current wife Melissa Cohen and three daughters with ex-wife Kathleen Buhle.

President Biden has also not met or acknowledged Navy, instead repeatedly praising his six grandchildren that were born in wedlock.

In 2002, half of Americans thought it was morally wrong to have an illegitimate child, but by 2015, 61% of Americans found them to be morally acceptable, according to Gallup polling.

In 2021, two out of five American babies were not born to married parents, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
