Lionel Messi scores incredible game-winning free kick goal in MLS debut

Lionel Messi’s MLS debut could not have been more dramatic.

The Argentine superstar did not start Friday’s game against Azul Cruz, but he did enter in the second half and scored a dramatic game-winning goal for Inter Miami CF.

In the 94th minute of stoppage time, Miami earned a free kick just outside the goal box.

Messi took the set piece and drilled a shot in the top left corner of the goal, giving Miami a 2-1 lead, which held up as the final score.
