King Charles pushed ‘to the limit’ by ‘total outcasts’ Harry, Meghan: expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have pushed King Charles “right to the limit,” according to a royal expert.

Charles Rae, former royal editor of the Sun, said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s myriad of attacks on the royal family cemented their status as “total outcasts.”

“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become total outcasts. They’ve had their HRH titles [His and Her Royal Highness] stripped from the royal family website,” he told TalkTV.

While the couple, who wed in 2018, retain their respective Sussex titles, they can no longer use their defunct HRH titles to “further their careers,” Rae claims.

“You can only push someone like King Charles so far, and Harry and Meghan have pushed him right to the limit. It’s only right that they are now ostracized,” he went on.

“They’re no longer invited to any of the upcoming royal events. However, there is no official memorial for Queen Elizabeth.”

Despite being in Europe for the Invictus Games, the pair reportedly did not receive an invitation to an intimate event at Balmoral Castle on Sept. 8 marking one year since Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

A source told the Sun that there “hasn’t been any outreach to them” from the royal family.

“What’s going to happen is Catherine and Prince William will issue a statement on the day. And, Charles will spend it in quiet reflection,” Rae added.

The pair’s trip to Germany will mark their first joint European appearance since the late monarch’s funeral on Sept. 19, 2022.

Elsewhere, Rae said that the Sussexes “seem to do everything they can to upset the royal family.”

“Oprah Winfrey, the Netflix series, s–ing off the royal family. They weren’t exactly supportive of the royal family then, as opposed to the royal family being continually supportive of those two all the way through,” the royal expert said.

“I’m not so sure he would be welcomed back with open arms by some members of the royal family,” Rae said of Harry’s potential return into the royal fold.

“It’s very much that old adage — he’s made his bed, now he has to lay in it. It’s that simple. Too much has gone under the bridge now. However, I can’t ever see it being back the way it was ever again — with or without Meghan.”
