I’m the world’s best catfish — you won’t believe my ‘daughter’ transformation
A woman dubbed the “world’s best catfish” has revealed how she claims to transform herself daily.
Chloe Fountain, who refuses to reveal her age, regularly posts TikToks showing how she allegedly takes years off her appearance by using makeup and tape.
The Canadian mom often has people confused by her dramatic makeovers, with many refusing to believe she’s the same person after posting clips supposedly depicting her drastic changes.
Fountain — who has over 990,000 followers on TikTok — previously told The Post that she likes “causing controversy” with her looks.
“I’m trying to create mystery because that’s what brings followers to my page,” she revealed. “That’s my goal because I want to be an internet personality.”
Although she assures viewers her videos are “100% real,” she admits she does ham it up for the camera a little bit by making herself look messier.
“I would say I make myself look slightly worse than I normally do. [If] I’m extra puffy because I’ve slept on my stomach, [then] I’m like, “Today would be a good day,’” she told Newsweek.
One of her latest videos even makes a self-deprecating proclamation in the caption: “I’m just really ugly without makeup I guess lol.”
But her transformations often have her followers in disbelief, with many questioning their legitimacy.
“No way this is the same person,” one user wrote.
“This mother daughter duo are hilarious,” added another, suggesting her female offspring is actually the model for any “after” images.
“And this, lads, is why you always take a first date out when its heavy rain,” said another, insinuating she was a catfish for her tricky transformation.
Fountain often talks about her go-to products, swearing by Peter Thomas Roth’s Instant FirmX Temporary Face Tightener, which she says she can make her look as “realistic” as she wants.
“Put a thin layer of that on because it will leave a film. Just put it on really thin, and voilà,” she said, adding that she is not being paid to promote it.
The beauty influencer wannabe also uses L’Oréal’s Infallible foundation powder, saying it’s better on older skin than liquid foundation, which “sets into your wrinkles and causes them to protrude more.”
Despite negative comments and people questioning her transformations, Fountain says she can handle the online criticism.
“When I was a kid, my mom would bully me and say mean things like, ‘You’ll never be a model, your legs are too fat.’ So if I can take her [negativity] throughout my whole life, I can definitely take people hating on me online,” she told The Post in 2021.
“I’m not trying to fool anyone or make anyone feel dumb. I just want to show the world that you can make beautiful changes to yourself at any age.”
