I’m a ‘human doll’ and almost died from $117K in black-market BBL injections

His life in plastic was not fantastic.

A man who has been dubbed “Baby Ken” almost died in 2021 after spending nearly $117,000 on a black-market Brazilian butt lift.

New York native Tyler Dyvig, 24, claimed that he underwent his first cosmetic procedure at the age of 15 and has since developed a taste for the scalpel.

Dyvig — who boasts 46,000 Instagram followers — said that he has received pectoral augmentation, bicep implants and a hair transplant.

“I decided to go down the black market route, as I didn’t have enough fat to get a Brazilian butt lift and I didn’t want implants because they feel so unnatural,” the influencer told Jam Press

According to Dyvig, when he went in for the treatments — which cost him $1,500 per session — it seemed like a routine operation.

“These injections were done by a nurse in her apartment, where you walk in and are taken into a back room with loads of sealed vials,” recalled Dyvig. “All of them looked completely safe and she claimed it was ‘good stuff’ inside that she had been administering for years.”

“I had her do a very thick silicone so it wouldn’t migrate, and she applied nail glue to close the incisions so this didn’t leak out,” Dyvig continued. “I was in excruciating pain, but I was happy with the results.”

Despite being assured of the nurse’s credentials, things did not go as planned for the young adult.

“For the first week, I was fine, but then I started noticing weird symptoms, where I felt weak, dizzy and short of breath,” said Dyvig. “I thought nothing of it until I had intense chest pain and noticed my standing heart rate was really fast.”

He also said he received six syringes of facial filler in his jawline, which led to a frightening state.

“Three hours later, my speech became impaired and I kept blacking out — I thought I was having a stroke,” said Dyvig.

Dyvig was rushed to a hospital, where he was diagnosed initially with supraventricular tachycardia — a sudden quickening heartbeat — but was later told he had the autoimmune disorder postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, which causes a quickening of the heart under various circumstances.

“Due to the silicone injection toxin, my body’s autonomic nervous system took a big hit,” said Dyvig. “Now I have issues with regulating blood pressure and I’m always dizzy, as well as being tired all the time – which I wasn’t before.”

According to the influencer, he has been advised by several plastic surgeons to keep the silicone injections inside his body, as he risks poisoning his bloodstream if they are removed.

“I was beyond lucky that the silicone wasn’t injected into any artery or vein, as I would’ve died of an embolism,” said Dyvig. “It makes me sick to my stomach that I took such a risk by letting someone who wasn’t even a registered doctor play with my life.”

Dyvig also said that the underground procedure caused him to become lethargic and isolate himself from his friends.

“I felt like a prisoner trapped in my body and each day; I still fear for my life,” he declared. “Because of this, I became a recluse, stopped going out with my friends, started sleeping more and felt like I didn’t have a purpose.”

Dyvig said the whole experience has caused him to second-guess his need for surgery.

“It’s completely changed my outlook on life, as I’m no longer driven by plastic surgery,” said Dyvig.

The man also said that his brush with death made him want to teach others about the danger of black-market injections and made him want to get his nurse practitioner license.

He additionally said that his brush with death made him want to teach others about the dangers of black-market injections and made him want to become a certified nurse practitioner.

“I remember how scared I was, and I hope to make a difference in someone else’s life with all I’ve been through,” said Dyvig. “I will never make the mistake of getting black-market injections again, as it could’ve easily killed me — and I thank God every day it didn’t.”
