She’s rolling in the dough.

Jade, who runs @captured.by.jade on TikTok, revealed how your iPhone camera roll can help you earn over $20,000 a month.

“Your unorganized camera roll can help you make thousands and thousands of dollars in passive income,” Jade revealed in a clip.

In the 44-second video posted on June 22, the college student explained how selling her personal images to companies seeking stock photography helped her earn easy money.

“Businesses are always seeking this organic-looking content,” Jade said. “Even just iPhone photos for marketing or advertising.”

Jade confirmed people seeking to enter this industry don’t need a “fancy camera” or “expensive equipment” to submit their candid photos.

Her “cheat code” encouraged many followers to pick up the stock side hustle.

“Me with 167,000 photos on my phone,” a watcher confessed.

“75% of the 15,000 photos in my camera roll are screenshots. The other 25% are my dogs being derpy,” added a jokester.

“I definitely need help paying tuition! I appreciate your posts so much and I’m going to try to pursue this,” one person commented.

Jade also noted she prefers using Shutterstock and Adobe Stock to upload her photos, and it’s usually free to submit your raw images on most stock photography websites.

“Need more information please, please,” begged a TikTokker.

In a follow-up video uploaded on July 29, Jade discussed in depth how much money she makes from stock photography and her submission process.

Jade’s most-sold photo is a scenic view in Monterey, California. It has been downloaded over 4,000 times and garnered over $26,000 over the last two years.

“While this was a beautiful picture, it really was the keywording and tagging that got this photo to be able to sell,” she admitted.

The content creator spends 20 minutes making minor edits to the images, developing strategic keywording, and tagging. Her stock images are mainly travel and scenic photos; however, she mentioned other niches that perform well.

She curated a series of videos and a handbook teaching her followers how to benefit from stock photography.

“When I tell you I have never bought something so fast in my life! I have a ton of travel hotel photos. That would be perfect! I’m sitting on a goldmine,” wrote one person.

“I take photos all the time and have beautiful ones. I need to do this!” commented another.
