A woman on TikTok shared how she almost missed her flight due to a passport issue — but not a typical problem.

Alisha Marie, who has 668,200 followers on the platform, said she was turned away by airport staff because the picture on her passport was “too hot.”

She filmed herself at the airport in the aftermath and shared what happened to her.

“They almost didn’t let me on my flight because they said I don’t look like my passport,” Alisha said, anxiously laughing.

As she seemingly shrugged off the mixup, she warned her followers not to take a “hot” photo for their passport.

“This is why you should never do hot photos for your passport. Never. Because I don’t look like this,” she said, showing a picture of her passport photo.

The photo shown clearly had more makeup and a hairstyle with bangs that Alisa was not styling at the moment.

“I’ve never been so humbled in my life,” Alisha wrote in her caption.

It turns out that Alisha is not alone, as many people commented about their own passport oddities.

“My passport photo is so bad and now I’m offended that they know it’s me lol,” someone claimed.
