Hunter Biden lawyer demands Marjorie Taylor Greene probe

A lawyer for first son Hunter Biden is asking for a congressional ethics investigation into so-called “verbal abuses” by far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene against his client — including claims that the scandal-scarred Hunter is involved in sex trafficking.

In a letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics, Abbe Lowell accused Greene (R-Ga.) of “continuous verbal attacks, defamatory statements, publication of personal photos and data, and promotion of conspiracy theories about and against Robert Hunter Biden.”

According to Lowell, the Republican firebrand’s “unhinged rhetoric” and actions toward the 53-year-old Hunter were not “part of any legitimate legislative activity,” according to a copy of the letter obtained by Politico.

“Hunter Biden paid non-resident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern European countries, and who appear to be linked to an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring,” Greene said in a video posted last week to one of her Twitter accounts with a small following. “He was engaged in an actual human trafficking ring. And he was paying a lot of money for it.”

In the video, Greene was reading from impeachment articles against President Biden, which she introduced in the House of Representatives the day after his inauguration in January 2021.

Greene’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Lowell’s request notes Greene also claimed on her official Twitter account, which has more than 2 million followers, that “The Biden crime family participated in human trafficking by soliciting prostitutes from the United States and abroad in countries like Russia and Ukraine.”

Biden’s lawyer also cites the congresswoman’s recent interview with CBS News’ Leslie Stahl on “60 Minutes,” during which Greene called Democrats “the party of pedophiles” for “sexualizing children” with legislation like the “so-called Trans Bill of Rights.”

Lowell also said Greene in January falsely claimed that photos of Hunter driving in his father’s convertible with his niece and cousin were actually proof of the first son “on crack wheeling & dealing with [Chinese Communist Party] ties and prostitutes with classified documents laying around in the garage.”

“These were family members, not prostitutes as Representative Greene claimed,” Hunter’s attorney wrote. “It is impossible that Representative Green[e]’s postings of this material could have a purpose other than one to cause a private citizen harm.”

Greene has made a number of inflammatory remarks during her time in Congress. During her first term, she was stripped of her committee assignments for having espoused conspiracy theories about the 2018 Parkland, Fla., school shooting and the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

She also expressed support for an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that baselessly claimed the Jewish Rothschild family controlled space lasers that caused a deadly California wildfire.

Greene currently serves on the House Oversight Committee and House Homeland Security Committee, where last week she accused Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) of having had a “sexual relationship with a Chinese spy.”

In another letter obtained by Politico, Lowell asked the Treasury Department’s inspector general to “review how Garrett M. Ziegler,” a Trump White House official, “came to acquire and then retain and publish on his website, Marco Polo USA, illegally obtained Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) from JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A. concerning what are alleged to be financial activities by Mr. Biden.”

The letters come as Hunter Biden faces a Justice Department investigation as well as a Republican-led House probe into his overseas business affairs.

Additionally, lawyers for a former stripper with whom Hunter fathered a love child petitioned an Arkansas court on Friday to imprison the first son for failing to provide financial records.

Lowell did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for additional comment or to address reports that Hunter Biden’s legal team will meet with the DOJ this week amid the ongoing probe.
