Grisly photos show luggage containing woman’s remains

Police in Florida have released gruesome new photos showing bloodstained suitcases containing the butchered remains of a woman that were found floating in a canal last week — along with an artist’s rendering of the unidentified victim.

One of the images shared by the Delray Beach Police Department on its Facebook page Wednesday shows a green-and-black polka dot Charlie Sport brand suitcase covered in what looks like bloodstains.

Another photo depicts a dirty purple Palm Springs Ricardo Beverly Hills bag with a length of red ribbon tied around the handle.

The two bags were among three pieces of luggage that were spotted floating in the Intracoastal Waterway in Florida last Friday.

All three suitcases were found to contain human remains belonging to the same woman, according to the police.

Investigators said they believe the murder and dismemberment occurred sometime between July 17 and July 20, followed by the disposal of the body parts on July 21.

The first bag was discovered along the Intracoastal Waterway near the 1000 block of Palm Trail. Shortly after, cops observed the two other suitcases bobbing in the water near SE 7th Avenue and Casuarina Road.

Police also released an artist’s rendering of what the victim may have looked like, including her clothing.

They said the woman was white or Hispanic, middle-aged, had brown hair, was approximately 5 feet, 4 inches and may have had tattooed eyebrows.

She was found wearing a floral top manufactured by the Brazilian clothing company Betzabe, a black undershirt and black shorts.

“Please take a close look at the images because the victim has not been identified,” cops implored the public.

Investigators asked people living along the waterway to review their security footage for any suspicious activity last week.
