Giuliani family fundraising for Eric Adams

New York City Republicans are ponying up thousands of dollars — for Mayor Adams.

Rudy E. Giuliani, a cousin of former Mayor Rudy W. Giuliani, and his wife Catherine will host Mayor Adams at their home in Flushing for a reception on Wednesday, according to an invite viewed by The Post.

It lists the “suggested contribution” as $1,000 with a maximum allowable of $2,100.

The cash will go toward Adams’ 2025 re-election campaign — which city progressives are expected to vigorously contest in the Democratic primary.

Rudy E. Giuliani, 67, is a retired school principal who specialized in children with special needs.

Catherine Giuliani is a lobbyist at RG Group who held several jobs in Mayor Giuliani’s administration.

They are both registered Republicans.

“Rudy E. Giuliani is my father’s first cousin. Their fathers were brothers,” the ex-mayor’s son, Andrew Giuliani, told The Post. “Rudy and Cathy — I’ve done every Christmas Eve with them my entire life. They’re wonderful people.”

Among the invited guests are firebrand GOP Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, though she has so far not committed to attending, and will “depend on her mood an hour before,” a person close to her said.

“New Yorkers from all corners of the city are supporting Mayor Adams because he is making this city safer while bringing our economy back,” said Evan Thies, a political adviser for Adams’s campaign.
