Ex-teacher’s aide accused of licking boy’s feet busted after approaching boy while out on bond

A former elementary school teacher’s aide accused of licking a boy’s feet was arrested again while he was out on bond after he approached another boy and asked to see his feet.

Caurey Rollins, 26, had been out of jail for just 10 days ahead of his trial for eight counts of child molestation when he pulled over his white Camaro outside of a home in Grovetown where a 12-year-old boy was playing basketball in his driveway on Wednesday, The Augusta Press reported.

According to a police report, Rollins showed the boy a picture on his phone of feet and asked him if his feet were like those in the photograph.

The boy said no, and then Rollins asked if he could see them.

The boy said no and ran inside, according to the document.

The boy’s mother recalled hearing stories about Rollins and pulled up a news report about him on her phone. Her son identified him as the man in the car.

Rollins was arrested Friday in Augusta and is expected to be transferred to Columbia County on charges of attempted child molestation.

He will be held without bond, authorities said.

Rollins was released on bond May 8 with no ankle monitor while awaiting trial on eight counts of child molestation in Richmond County.

Augusta District Attorney Jared Williams argued against the bond, but the judge granted a $38,700 bond with conditions, including he have no contact with the victims, abide by a 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. curfew and to avoid the alleged incident locations, according to jail records

The foot-licking incident allegedly occurred on Jan. 14 at the Urban Air Adventure Park in Augusta, where a 7-year-old boy was spending time with a friend and the friend’s mother, according to an affidavit.

The child’s guardian told deputies that the 7-year-old was in a fenced-in play area when Rollins approached him, asked him to sit down in front of him and tickled his feet.

Rollins then allegedly asked the boy “to remove his socks and eventually licked both of the victim’s feet,” the document stated.

Rollins told deputies that he had met up with his family members at the trampoline park who had just left, and said he was about to head out as well, however investigators later determined he was alone.

He was later indicted on molestation charges.

The other charges stem from incidents that occurred at the Glenn Hills Elementary School, where Rollins was formerly employed as a physical education paraprofessional.

Rollins was indicted by a grand jury on April 11 on seven counts of child molestation involving three fourth-grade girls at the school during fall term, according to the Augusta Press.

Rollins was placed on leave by the school system in January and resigned Feb. 11.
