Children’s clothing section in California Target turns into flaming inferno

These deals are too hot to handle!

Back-to-school shoppers were met with a towering inferno in the children’s clothing section of a California Target on Tuesday — but luckily no one was hurt.

Shoppers were forced to evacuate the Buena Park outlet when the blaze erupted at around 7 p.m., but not before one customer caught the massive fire on camera.

Gigantic flames could be seen reaching up to the ceiling in the middle of the children’s section as the sprinkler systems went off.

It appeared the fire engulfed a standalone rack of what appeared to be clothes for toddlers.

Moments later, an employee calmly used a fire extinguisher to help quell the raging flames that looked like a scene from a horror movie.

Witness Guillermo Santander was with his daughter at the store. He told ABC 7 that he thought it was just a Halloween prop at first, but as he got closer, “we heard a pop which was the sprinkler going off.”

“All of a sudden, the flame got bigger,” he told the outlet.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. Arson investigators have deemed it “suspicious,” according to KTLA.

The flames were extinguished by the time firefighters arrived.

However, the store was filled with a smoky haze, according to Orange County Fire Authority Battalion Chief Erik Miranda.

Last month, a giant brawl broke out at another California Target, which left a teen pleading for mercy and crying.

Four men assaulted another man, who attempted to defend himself before he was pummeled to the floor. His attackers stomped and kicked him until bystanders called the police.

Target has also been in hot water this summer after debuting its Pride collection, which includes tuck-friendly swimwear, causing a massive backlash that led to millions in losses.

A shareholder is suing the company after losing $20,000, accusing the store of misleading investors.
