Missouri man arrested in SUV with ‘WE-HIGH’ license plate

He had police on high alert.

A Missouri man was arrested over the weekend in a vehicle with a vanity license plate reading “WE-HIGH.”

The man, who has not been identified publicly, was taken into custody for resisting arrest by fleeing at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office told The Post Wednesday.

The officers initially detained both the man, who was driving the vehicle, and an unnamed passenger when they drove away from the officer’s initial attempt to pull them over for an unspecified violation, the office explained.

During the ensuing pursuit, police noticed the Land Rover’s unique vanity plate, KCTV reported.
