Troy Bohling accused of pushing women into Germany ravine: report

The man arrested for allegedly pushing two American tourists into a ravine by a castle in Germany has been identified as a “quiet” 30-year-old Michigan native who enjoyed playing “Dungeon and Dragons,” according to a report.

Troy Bohling, 30, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, allegedly lured the women off the trail with the promise of a “romantic” view of the Neuschwanstein castle — known as the Cinderalla castle — then pushed one over the edge of a steep ravine and tried to sexually assault her friend before also shoving her over, according to the Daily Mail.

Both women, Eva Liu, 21, and 22-year-old Kelsey Chang, were airlifted to hospital. Liu succumbed to her injuries but Chang’s fall was broken by a tree and she has been treated for her injuries and released.

Bohling was staying in the town of Oberstof and was in the country on a tourist visa at the time of the attack, according to the report.

Neighbors in his hometown of Lincoln Park, Michigan, roughly 11 miles from Detroit, described him as “quiet.”

“Troy would never look you down in the eye when he came and went,” the anonymous neighbor told the Mail.

“I’m shocked what he’s been accused of,” the neighbor went on, “I’m scared he may have done stuff here and no one has figured it out yet.”

Bohling lived in a single-story Lincoln Park home with his brother, who did not immediately respond to The Post’s requests for comment Monday. He reportedly spent time at his local library, where he played “Dungeon and Dragons” and other fantasy games.

According to the report, he and his brother could also be spotted around their home walking their cat on a leash.

Speaking to German news outlet Bild, Bohling’s mother denied her son was even in Germany in the first place.

“We have to find out what happened — we won’t comment,” she reportedly said.

Bohling is being held on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and attempted sexual assault.

Recent college graduates Liu and Chang were visiting the Schwangu, Germany, tourist attraction when they met Bohling, who police have said was otherwise a stranger.

Bohling allegedly attacked the women after leading them to a trail viewpoint Wednesday. The man first set his sights on Liu, but turned his attention to Chang as she tried to stop him, police said.

Bohling choked Chang before shoving her off the cliff and onto a tree branch below, police said.

He allegedly attempted to sexually assault Liu, then pushed her to her into the 165-foot ravine, according to authorities.

Bohling will not be extradited to the US before his case is tried in Bavaria, the Mail reported.

Prosecutors have said they expect the investigation to take three to four months.
