‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ winner Tyra Sanchez arrested in Flordia

A former “RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner could wind up doing a different type of “serving.”

Season 2 victor Tyra Sanchez — also known as King Tyra — has been charged with assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting without violence after allegedly threatening to gun down Florida cops, according to an arrest report obtained by TMZ Saturday.

The saga began with a minor car crash in Starke, a city roughly 40 miles southwest of Jacksonville, but quickly escalated after police arrived on the scene.

Tyra allegedly jumped out of her car and began verbally berating the cops, the report claims.

The reality star is accused of making the threat to shoot the officer and reaching into her car when he tried to slap handcuffs on her.

Police grabbed Tyra, placed her in a bear hug and deployed a Taser, but the drag queen was reportedly still able to make a break for it.

She allegedly took off on foot before officers caught up to her and took her into custody.

The arrest is the second run-in with the law in the last few years for Tyra, who took home a $25,000 prize and the RuPaul crown in 2010.

She was busted in 2020 for spray-painting “Don’t Move Here Ever” on the side of an apartment building in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tyra was reportedly living in the building at the time, but was accused of not paying her rent for several months.

That same year, the drag queen officially retired her Tyra Sanchez persona.

She emerged out of retirement in 2022 with a rebranded personality and began performing as King Tyra exclusively on her OnlyFans.
