Beyoncé and Jay-Z buy new $200M house in California

The ’03 Bonnie and Clyde are making power moves.

Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z paid a whopping $200 million for their new home in California, making it the most expensive house ever sold in that state, according to TMZ.

The 30,000-square-foot Malibu property was designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who also created Kanye West’s $57.3 million mansion he acquired during his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

The all-concrete home was previously owned by art collector William Bell and took him 15 years to build, per the outlet.

The “Crazy In Love” collaborators reportedly got a great deal on the structure, as it was actually listed for $295 million.

This investment reportedly is also the second most expensive real estate contract in the country, as a New York City apartment was previously sold for $238 million.

Fans on social media had mixed reactions to the Carters’ new purchase, Several people thought the buy was “excessive” and some called Beyoncé, 41, and Jay-Z, 53, “capitalists.”

“No person in a normal society should have so much wealth,” tweeted one person.

“Who tf buys a house that costs this much bro that’s so useless you could buy SO much land to save the earth but you rather spend it on a f–king house…💀,” wrote another.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have a vast real estate portfolio.

In 2017, the couple — who tied the knot in 2008 and share three children — bought a home in Bel-Air for $88 million, according to TMZ.

That same year, the “Upgrade U” musicians dropped $26 million on 12,000-square-foot a mansion in the Hamptons.
