Moment men fling rocks, concrete during Minnesota road rage fight

A Minnesota man was arrested after he and two others were caught on camera flinging rocks and slabs of concrete at each other’s cars in a wild road rage fight.

Minnesota police responded to a brawl on Tuesday at an off ramp on Highway 62, in Richfield, where three people were fighting each other.

The traffic cam video opens with one of the men hurling a stone at another wearing a beige T-shirt, with the brick hitting his black car as he dodges and runs.

A third man, in a black T-shirt, then rushes in with a concrete slab in hand to throw at the first suspect, who quickly rushes into his white car and drives away, but not before his window gets pelted by the rock.

The white vehicle only drives a short distance before stopping, but the driver remains inside the car as the other two men continue to fight.

The man in the beige shirt, who first ran away, is then seen coming back with his own rock, rushing towards the other man’s black car.

The black vehicle, however, manages to drive away quickly, and then the man in the beige shirt sets his eyes on a neighboring Jeep, tossing the rock at the car.

The driver of the Jeep then immediately tries to run the man over, who dodges the vehicle as it circles around him.

The Jeep then rushes out of the scene as the man in the beige shirt appears ready to grab another landscaping block from a nearby yard.

Police said the fight was originally between three people and actually began on Interstate 35W in Interstate 35W in Minneapolis before the drivers entered Richfield.

Minnesota State Patrol confirmed that there has been an uptick in aggressive driving in the state.

“We’re getting like 10-20 a day,” said Sgt. Troy Christianson told WCOO. “If you confront them, possibly something could happen. You could get into a fight. Or even worse yet, something else could escalate the situation.”

Local residents said they were shocked at the violence that broke out in their neighborhood, with Rickey Cotton, of Minneapolis, urging fellow drivers to stay calm behind the wheel.

“Keep your cool and don’t let your anger get the best of you,” Cotton told the local outlet.
