Stormy Daniels says ‘#TeamStormy’ merch flying off shelves following Trump indictment

Porn star Stormy Daniels said she celebrated former President Donald Trump’s indictment with champagne as she watched online orders pour in for her personal merchandise.

The ex-commander-in-chief was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury Thursday for unknown charges related to hush-money payments made to Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign.

Daniels said her merch, which includes t-shirts with “#TeamStormy” printed on them and signed posters of herself posing in sexy lingerie, were flying off the shelves.

“Thank you to everyone for your support and love! I have so many messages coming in that I can’t respond… also don’t want to spill my champagne,” Daniels tweeted with a winky face emoji. “#Teamstormy merch/autograph orders are pouring in, too! Thank you for that as well but allow a few extra days for shipment.”

The adult entertainment star and Trump allegedly had an affair in 2006 and when the real estate mogul turned to politics, his team reportedly worried it could tarnish his reputation.

During Trump’s first run for president, his former personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen paid $130,000 to Daniels to ensure she would remain quiet about the alleged romance.

Trump, 76, has denied the affair. However, Cohen pleaded guilty for his role in 2018 and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Daniels’ attorney Clifford Brewster said in a statement that the indictment against Trump “is not cause for joy.”

“The hard work and conscientiousness of the grand jurors must be respected. Now let truth and justice prevail. No one is above the law. #teamstormy,” he tweeted.

Trump is the first US president — former or sitting — to face criminal charges. He is expected to surrender to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office Tuesday, law enforcement sources said.
